As he prepares for the release of his fifth album God Forgives, I Don’t (due December 13), Rick Ross tweeted his first message since he suffered two seizures two weeks ago.
He said,
“#thebossback. stronger than Ive ever been.. richer than I ever wuz..”
Although he made no direct mention of his health, his protege Wale told Angie Martinez:
"He needs to get some rest. He’s been working himself real, real hard. Every other day he text me, make sure you get some rest."
Hopefully Rick is resting because he has a lot of projects coming up, including an appearance on Mary J. Blige’s My Life II disc on a song called "Why."

The TeenNick HALO Awards are weeks away from kicking off, but the celebrities involved are already spreading the word. In a new PSA for the event, airing November 6, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, David Beckham and Jessica Biel have joined forces to let viewers know about the show.
“Anti-bullying became something that I am now very passionate about,” Lady Gaga said in a statement about being involved with the show. “I was bullied in school, and for a very long time, I kept those feelings inside. Today, I feel grateful and happy that I was able to get through these struggles and have friends, family and people around that inspired me — people like Emily-Anne.”
Emily-Anne Rigal, 17, has been paired with Gaga thanks to her work to help stop bullying. She started the WeStopHate.org website, helping to shed light on the cause.
Swift will be paired with 19-year-old James O’Dwyer, who started the Magnolia Disaster Relief, an aid program that aims to offer relief to rural areas hit by tornadoes.
“I think James and I have a lot in common, and I’m really glad I got to meet and surprise him at my concert,” Swift said. “Judging from the things he’s been able to accomplish, he’s one of those people who does the work without looking for or taking any of the credit.
“What really impressed me about James is how he stepped up to the line as soon as he heard that people were in trouble,” she continued. “He saw first-hand how their lives had been destroyed and instead of getting frozen in that moment, he posted a message on Facebook to rally anyone who could bring supplies and food to those who lost their homes in tornados.”
Meanwhile, Biel is paired with Shanoah Washington, an 18-year-old who created the Sista2Sista program, which aims to motivate young women. Finally, Beckham was paired with Kyle Weiss, 18, who started the organization FUNDaFIELD, which builds soccer fields in Africa.
The show will be hosted by Nick Cannon. It all takes place at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on October 26. The broadcast will air November 6 on Nick at Nite, with an encore November 7 on TeenNick.

Justin Bieber is bridging the generation gap with his star-studded holiday album, Under the Mistletoe. He’s collaborated with a string of stars like Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes and Usher for the November 1 LP. But it’s the Biebs’ pairing with Boyz II Men that’s sure to expand the teen star’s fanbase.
We spoke to BIIM’s Nate Morris via Skype during our special “MTV First: Justin Bieber” this week, and he shared his thoughts on the young singer as well as their holiday collabo “Falalalala.”
“We respect him, man,” the R&B crooner told MTV News’ James Montgomery. “I watch what he does, I watch what the people around him do, and they’re guiding him in the right directions. You don’t hear anything bad about this guy. He has his head on straight.”
JB’s team includes his mother, Pattie, who Morris said clearly has Bieber’s best interests at heart. “His mom has got his focus in the right direction and as long as she does that, he’ll be just fine,” he added.
So will Boyz II Men head to the studio again with the pop superstar? Morris was optimistic, saying, “Oh, without a doubt. We just have to figure out the right circumstance. This was perfect for us because, you know, we wanted to try to make sure that the first song we did together was something that people could accept the two artists doing together. … If there’s a soundtrack or whatever that comes along that we can create something special, that’ll be hot.”
BIIM’s team-up with JB is just one of many treats the group has planned for their comeback. On October 25, they’re set to drop Twenty, a new double-disc set that features both brand-new tracks and re-recorded classics.
“It’s a collection of our best work, we think,” Morris admitted. “I mean, 20 years is a long time to be in this business, so we tried to encompass a little bit of everything. …We wanted to bring everything together all on one [album] even for those young Bieber fans who may not know all the Boyz II Men records — they can get all the history and today’s music on one CD.”

The show premieres Monday, December 19 at 9 PM/8c on VH1.
