I House Hunters and House Hunters International. There’s also another show I like to watch called For Rent, but only because it makes me angry.

When it comes to apartments/homes, I think living in New York for the past eleven years has made me bitter because there was this whiny broad on For Rent a few nights ago who was looking at a huge place—A HUGE PLACE—and was like, “There’s no place for a dining room table…”

B*TCH, YOU’RE LUCKY TO GET A KITCHEN IN NEW YORK.

I hated her.

Now there’s some stupid lady on House Hunters who wants a townhouse with a fireplace that she can turn on with a light switch. IT HAS TO BE A LIGHT SWITCH because she doesn’t want to bend down and flip a switch on the floor.

WHO DO THESE PEOPLE THINK THEY ARE?

Anyway, I know my LA update is WAY overdue (and truth be told I wrote a long one last week but for some reason it didn’t save so I lost the whole thing and I was so angry that I just said, “Ah, f*ck it,” and closed the computer instead of rewriting) but to give you a quick update, I AM SO HAPPY HERE. I MEAN, I’M REALLY, REALLY HAPPY. And I think living here and watching HGTV—both of these things combined—has made me realize that New York was just beating me down. I mean, the fireplace lady—yes, she’s an idiot. But there’s nothing wrong with wanting a dining room table. Why did I get so mad at that lady?

Since being here, at least once a day I ask myself why I have lived in New York for so long. (It’s like I had Stockholm Syndrome or something.) CALIFORNIA IS AWESOME. It’s like the promised land. It’s sunny all the time and there are birds and flowers everywhere. I have space out here. I have a sofa on the patio out here. I HAVE A SOFA OUTSIDE. I haven’t seen one rat since I’ve been here. But hummingbirds? THEY ZIP BY MY HEAD EVERY DAY. I am so happy.

I’m supposed to go back to New York in November, but truth be told, I’m not sure I will.

Lady Gaga is set to give her Little Monsters a big surprise at Paris Fashion Week next Wednesday. MTV News can exclusively announce that Mother Monster will debut a brand-new short film during the spring/summer 2012 fashion show for the Mugler Women’s Wear Collection in Paris next week.

The film was directed by “Yoü and I” fashion-film directors and fashion photographers Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin under the creative direction of Nicola Formichetti, Mugler’s creative director and Gaga’s stylist.

The film will feature a previously-unreleased remix of one of Gaga’s songs. For those not lucky enough to attend, a special edit of the film will drop the following day online. In an exclusive behind-the-scenes still, fans are teased with a peek at Gaga’s face and her long, straight blond hair. In addition, starting Monday, Mugler.tumblr.com will feature live blogging from Mugler’s Atelier.

While little is known about what the Haus of Gaga have up their sleeve for this latest film, the clapper board does reveal some hints. The date on the board is 09.20.2011, perhaps a hint as to when Gaga, Formichetti, and Inez and Vinoodh shot the video.

This isn’t the first time Gaga and Mugler have collaborated in this way. Besides the fact that Formichetti is her stylist, she’s also given fans brand-new music at his shows. In January, she debuted a remix of her Born This Way track “Scheiße” at a Mugler fashion show. Then in March, Gaga not only walked in a Mugler show, she also debuted her song “Government Hooker” during the same show.

Experts agree that the Mugler/Gaga relationship is one of the best in the business. “Gaga working with people like Nicola Formichetti has allowed designers like him and like the late Alexander McQueen to step out of the world of high fashion, which is often perceived of as elite, and become part of the mainstream music landscape as she’s used high fashion to build her own personal musical narrative,” MTV Buzzworthy blog editor Tamar Anitai said.

MTV Style blog editor Mary H.K. Choi calls their work together “a pop culture moment. … I think we can all agree that Lady Gaga’s relationship with Nicola Formichetti has been entirely synergistic,” she said. “When she walked the Mugler runway in Paris last season, not only did she model with aplomb, but her debut of ‘Government Hooker’ galvanized the show as a pop culture moment. The clothing was beautiful, granted, very much the sexy, bombastic Mugler aesthetic of the ’80s and early ’90s, but the confluence of Gaga, her music and Formichetti — all streamed live on Facebook — made the collection a must-see event.”

Two down, four more to go. On Tuesday night, Lady Gaga tweeted out her latest “Yoü and I” fashion film. After portraying “Nymph” in the first one, Gaga portrays the black-clad Bride in the latest installment, which she tweeted out to her Little Monsters.

The Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin-directed clip features Gaga wearing her outfit from the opening scenes of the proper “Yoü and I” video in which she stands at the cornfield crossroads.

During the two-minute, 28-second clip, Gaga dances around in her black chiffon outfit, slowly stripping away her blond wig and couture. By the end, she’s topless, with her hands covering her breasts. Some of Gaga’s monsters and pals make an appearance in the video as well, including blink-and-miss-it appearances from her video co-star “Vampire Diaries” actor Taylor Kinney and her stylist Nicola Formichetti.

The black-and-white clip also has funny, kitschy moments showing Gaga smiling, laughing and making funny faces for the camera. The videos were shot while Mother Monster and her entire Haus were in Nebraska earlier this summer working on the Laurieann Gibson-directed clip.

Each of the six films will focus on one of Gaga’s characters in the original video, which includes her mermaid incarnation, Yuyi and her male alter ego, Jo Calderone. “We built a studio in a pigsty and worked for three days with her constantly coming off set to us and filming with us and taking pictures,” Inez told MTV News. “What’s incredible in there is that this is Gaga as herself, in the character that she is, related to the ‘Yoü and I’ video, and it’s purely her.”

She greeted her fans too, before she left the set for the day.

Anyone who was inside the J.W. Marriott in downtown Los Angeles during rehearsals for the 2011 Video Music Awards pre-show can surely attest to two things: the catchiness of Cobra Starship’s “You Make Me Feel …” (especially since they sound-checked it roughly 52 dozen times) and the fact that, during a quick break from all that sound-checking, Justin Bieber totally snuck behind the band’s drum kit and let it rip.

Bieber, of course, was there to support his girlfriend, Selena Gomez, who was serving as MTV News’ special pre-show correspondent, and he’s definitely no stranger to the occasional drum solo, so the whole thing sort of made sense (though, to be fair, pretty much everyone who saw it go down couldn’t believe their eyes).

But, when we caught up with Cobra Starship backstage at the Fueled by Ramen 15th anniversary show in New York on Wednesday, we had to ask them: Were they aware of Bieber’s impromptu drum performance? And, more importantly, did they take umbrage to it?

“I heard about that, that Justin Bieber was playing our kit,” Cobra bassist Alex Suarez laughed.

“It’s a rental,” drummer Nate Novarro added.

Of course, you’ll notice that Novarro didn’t say whether Bieber’s actions angered him. Is the drum kit, much like the pitcher’s mound, a sacred space in which only a select few dare tread?

“Kind of, but [Bieber] could beat me up, so I can’t approach him and say anything,” Novarro said.

It should be noted, however, that this is not the first time Bieber has hijacked Cobra Starship’s kit. At the 2009 Jingle Ball in Sacramento, California, he took the stage during the band’s set after frontman Gabe Saporta challenged him to a dance-off, but, since JB was still recovering from a broken foot, all he could do was sit down behind the drums and bang out a searing solo. And that, Novarro believes, set the precedent for the VMA pre-show incident.

“He showed me what he could do, and it was good, so I was like, ‘You can come back and do it whenever you want,’ ” he said. “I think he just took full advantage of that.”

And it was at that exact minute that Cobra guitarist Ryland Blackinton — perhaps wanting to quash any beef with the Biebs (especially since the two are set to tour Mexico and South America next month) — stepped in to diffuse the situation and let it be known that they were cool with any and all Bieber-related drum performances.

“He didn’t overstep any boundaries,” Blackinton said.

Phew.

Even a dozen years removed from the White House, former president Bill Clinton still has that same superstar-attracting aura. That might explain why such bright lights as Lady Gaga, Bono and The Edge of U2, and Usher have signed on to perform at an October 15 party for Clinton at the Hollywood Bowl.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, details on the final list of performers and presenters are still being worked on, but an impressive list of movie and TV personalities are expected to sign on for the event, which is being billed as a celebration of the 10-year anniversary of Clinton’s nonprofit William J. Clinton Foundation.

To date, the foundation has raised more than $10 billion for some of the ex-president’s most cherished causes, including HIV/AIDS treatment, economic empowerment, food aid and global health initiatives. The show, which will also serve as a birthday party celebration for the former Democratic leader (who turned 65 on August 19), will be broadcast exclusively by Yahoo, which will stream “A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation” worldwide to a potential audience of millions.

Clinton continues to travel the world doing good works, though he turned his attention homeward over the weekend when he participated in the 10th anniversary ceremonies of the September 11 terror attacks. He announced on Sunday that he will team with Republican House Speaker John Boehner in a bipartisan effort to raise the final $10 million needed to complete the Fight 93 National Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
